Few people in the Tanakh are as tied to names as Isaiah. His son Shear-jashub walks beside him to meet the king in Isaiah 7:3; the name means a remnant shall return. A second son, in 8:3, has the longest name in the Tanakh, Maher-shalal-hash-baz. Behold, says Isaiah 8:18, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me shall be for signs. His own name means the Lord is salvation, and is written ישעיהו, with the full ending. The short form ישעיה belongs to other men, in Ezra and Nehemiah, and today it is a common first name. So a search for the prophet should use the long form, and the short one is a search for somebody else.
